CATEGORIES: Training

Course content: Explanation of the navigation equipment on board. Introduction to the operation of the plotter: the main menus, adjusting the screen, reading the position, defining waypoints and targets, rods, autopilot, AIS, etc. Classic navigation: working with the nautical chart, landmarks, creating and calculating base lines, entering them on the map, coupling, etc. Night navigation: lighthouses and their identification, beacons, bearing; Use of port manuals.

Course objectives: Training both classic and electronic navigation under real conditions, including at night.

4-6 people.
